Today, I found out that my friend's mom passed away. I haven't talked to my friend in a while and I've only met his mom once, but we were once pretty close and his mom seemed like such a kind woman. In church last Sunday, the gospel was from the book of Matthew and it read, "About that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. For as the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the blood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day of Noah entered the ark, they knew nothing until the flood came and swept them all away, so too will be the coming of the Son of Man." Things always happens unexpectedly. Whether they're bad or good, you never really know when life will end or when a new life will be created. Only God can see the bigger picture. Only HE knows when it's time for us to leave the Earth.
It really doesn't matter how long ago you guys have talked, or seen each other. When you hear something, like the lost of a loved one from your friend, it really hits home. I thank God everyday for blessing me with an amazing mother who loves me unconditionally. I can't bare to imagine my mom leaving me. The thought of it is so scary for me, that I choke up everything I think about it. I think that's why its really hitting home for me, because if it was my mom, I really don't know what I would do.
Since our lives isn't planned out for us, we should always remember to let the people in our lives know how important they are to us. Especially when we're caught up in our lives so much ,that we forget about the people around us. Always remember and be thankful for the reasons why the people in your life is important to you because life is crazy, and you never know when it's its almost time to leave.
